Boots Reunion is a state of mind, it’s camaraderie between musicians/friends and it’s respect for the Blues.

It’s also a trip inside other musical styles, with “bluesy” elements, like Funk and Soul and it’s also a trip through time, from the “roots” of Delta Blues to the most current scenario, drinking influences from artists like the three famous Kings, Jimi Hendrix, Stevie Ray Vaughan and their contemporaries Gary Clark Jr, Doyle Bramhall II and Philip Sayce.

João Alves (vocals and guitar) and Tiago Franco (guitar), creators of the project in 2015, have been joined by Clemente Almeida (bass) and Paulo Fonseca (drums) since 2016.

It is in this format that this Azorean/Micaelan project has played and received positive feedback for their “energetic performances and heartfelt ballads, gaining fans with each concert.

In recent years they have expanded their work across the continent, namely in Lisbon, and have in mind to record their originals as soon as the world calms down.

Shanna Waterstown was born in the Deep South in Florida USA. She grew up singing Gospel in a small Baptist church. Her youth was tailored by many rich and different styles of music, and inspired her first creations and compositions.

She has performed and toured all over USA and Europe rising in her career as a major American artist.

She has had the privilege of opening for James Brown, Buddy Guy, Louisiana Red, Mud Morganfield and Maceo Parker just to name a few.
The very masculine world of Blues is accepting and presenting her as a real “Blues Woman”.

Shanna is well on her way (as one of the youngest Blues women of our decade) to conquering all the Blues fans in Europe and the US.She has successfully constructed an incredibly talented and powerful blues band of international musicians to present her songs and live show on stage. Let yourselves be taken by a warm, sensual, powerful and authentic voice that is born in the Blues.

Surely she is… Shanna Waterstown.

21st Century Blues!
This is the slogan for five talented musicians, all of whom belong to the youngest generation of this legendary style. This band of prodigy has much more to offer than just fancy suits and overly pomaded hair. They know their craft, studied the old bluesmen’s skills and learned first- hand from their predecessors.

All of this is thrillingly demonstrated with their innovative approach of this tradition in a new, modern and still origin-conscious embodiment, distinguishing themselves from the long- exhausted habit to lethargically reproduce and copy the old standards.

His passion for music turned him into a Dj for festivals and theme parties.

A confessing lover of the Blues / Rock, he brings back the great classics of the past, which can hardly be found today in the Azorean night, taking on the fascination with the remix of electronic music.

He carries all this positive energy to the BIG public.
